Lee Villaire

Lee Villaire (pronounced “vill-air”), is described as a powerhouse vocalist and has 6 solo CDs to her credit. Her latest, titled “Victory Dance” was officially launched on January 18th, 2014 to a packed house at the legendary Bull Run in Shirley, MA.

Lee’s originally from Montreal and has been writing songs since the age of 14. She’s penned tunes for blues legend Bob Walsh and Scottish country band Evangeline, released her first solo CD in 2001 and has won Honorable Mentions in the International Unisong and Billboard songwriting competitions.  Two tracks off her CD “Curious” were selected as part of “The Best of 2010” on Cape Cod’s Pixy 103FM Homegrown radio program, while other songs charted on over 30 college radio stations throughout the country.

She’s had the privilege of being accompanied by many New England cream-of-the-crop musicians in her bands over the years including Roger Fluet, Kris Lucander, Adam Bergeron, Rich Buck, Danny Clark, Ros Bortoni, Jason Sharron, Tom Ruckey and Dave Gaudet.  Today, Lee co-writes with her partner Roger Fluet, and they perform with the Flair Band doing a mix of their originals and covers.  Joining them are more amazing players: Elizabeth Lorrey on keyboards, guitars and vocals, Marc Feldman on bass and vocals, and Jo Thackeray on drums and percussion. Next project:  releasing new music as Flair!
